Compassion

“In one sense once could define compassion as the feelling of unbearableness at the sight of other people’s suffering, other sentient beings’ suffering. True compassion implies the wish to put an end to others’ suffering and a sense of responsibility for those who suffer.”
The 14th Dalai Lama

I am particularly moved by this quote today, as I go into a contemplative place and offer healing intentions and love for a family member. Please accept my similar intentions for those in your life that you might be thinking of right now and for all of our suffering on this planet. May we wish together for the end of the cause of suffering and for all of us to trust and rest in our deep hearts.
